Playing with Dirty Balls

Get your mind out of the gutter...unless it's the bowling alley gutter because that's what I'm talking about. A bunch of us went bowling last night and when we finished, my hands were filthy. I went to the loo to wash them and when I was finished my hands felt funny...tingly. Within a couple of minutes I had a hot red rash all them. I'm guessing I was allergic to something in the soap, but it's never happened before. I bowled a 164 at one point so, as a bowler who does the Snoopy dance when she breaks 100, it was totally worth it. Still a little itchy today but getting better. I guess the moral of the story is to play with your own balls and not the one at the lanes. At least you know where they've been and can wait til you get home to wash your hands!

Sounds like packets of "sensitive skin" baby wipes might be needed in your future? I hope you are back to normal this morning!

ewwww.... Maybe you need to sterilize your balls with those clorox wipes before playing with them? I like Kathy's "2" words!

The doctor column in the newspaper today had a letter about people who get reactions to anti-bacterial soap.

Just got a comment on my last blog entry reminding me that Monday is actually the last day of November, not today. So I have TWO more entries to complete NaBloPoMo; today and TOMORROW. How sad would that have been...to blow the whole thing because I can't read a calendar? I just figured, hey, December is coming next week, might's well start it out first thing on Monday! Lots of New Tangle Pattern Ideas!

I've been setting aside tangles that I've created in a special file in my cabinet. When I put one in last night, I realized that I had quite a stockpile and that I hadn't put only of them out there for others to try...so here they all are. I'm not good at stepouts or at naming. Most of them are named after placed in Maine...just because. I'd love to see any tangles that you've done that use any of these patterns! Have fun and tangle on!

Wicked Wonderful Weekend

 I had a really nice weekend. I didn't expect to since I had both my Covid booster and my flu shot  on Thursday afternoon. My first of the original two Covid shots put me under the weather for about 24 hours...but I just got a headache from this one and that's about it. And since I get headaches anyway, who knows if it was from the shots or not? At any rate, I was prepared for a stay-at-home-lay-about weekend.  Life is what happens when you are making other plans.  Since I decided Friday Night that I guess I wasn't going to be incapacitated after all, I arranged to go with friend, Donna to Baraboo to the Arts and Crafts Festival. It was really nice and way bigger than I thought it would be. Baraboo is where Ringling Brothers started so there were also circus-y things all over town. So much fun! After the Fair we went to lunch at a little breakfast place and then headed to one of my fav spots, Pewett's Nest, to see the gorge and waterfall. Then we stopped at Sky Hi Ap...
