Dog Origami

I stayed home from work today-my cold is at it's peak. It's actually gotten better as today has worn on. But it was a nasty, rainy cold day and both me and Ben had our grump on so we curled up on the sofa and watched daytime t.v.. That's enough to make anyone get better and back to work in a hurry.

Ben is a pretty big guy as you can see by the stretched out picture, but he can fold himself into a pretty small package if it means he gets to share the loveseat with Mommy.

See! I don't take up any room at all!

What a sweetheart! I have a big oaf of a dog who can make himself so teeny too - it's so darn cute! He is going to be in a "pet show" at Cambridge Elementary tomorrow - should be a hoot - my daughter has been working on "tricks". He'll be so excited, we'll be lucky if we are still standing! (because he will pull us right down...)

Yes, miserable weather today, and even though it's not terribly cold, I'm chilly and just feel "damp"..... I know what you mean about daytime tv! I was sick at home by myself for over a week one time a few years ago, and was just miserable watching tv, though, it was better than nothing, but not better than work, and being around people.....

Bentley looks like such a sweetie! I loved Mr. Bee's birthday present. It sounds like such a cool place. Thanks for your comment on my blog about Harry...he is adorable! Oh...I watched Capote last night. I thought it was better than Infamous. Hope you're feeling better.

Just got a comment on my last blog entry reminding me that Monday is actually the last day of November, not today. So I have TWO more entries to complete NaBloPoMo; today and TOMORROW. How sad would that have been...to blow the whole thing because I can't read a calendar? I just figured, hey, December is coming next week, might's well start it out first thing on Monday! Lots of New Tangle Pattern Ideas!

I've been setting aside tangles that I've created in a special file in my cabinet. When I put one in last night, I realized that I had quite a stockpile and that I hadn't put only of them out there for others to try...so here they all are. I'm not good at stepouts or at naming. Most of them are named after placed in Maine...just because. I'd love to see any tangles that you've done that use any of these patterns! Have fun and tangle on!

Wicked Wonderful Weekend

 I had a really nice weekend. I didn't expect to since I had both my Covid booster and my flu shot  on Thursday afternoon. My first of the original two Covid shots put me under the weather for about 24 hours...but I just got a headache from this one and that's about it. And since I get headaches anyway, who knows if it was from the shots or not? At any rate, I was prepared for a stay-at-home-lay-about weekend.  Life is what happens when you are making other plans.  Since I decided Friday Night that I guess I wasn't going to be incapacitated after all, I arranged to go with friend, Donna to Baraboo to the Arts and Crafts Festival. It was really nice and way bigger than I thought it would be. Baraboo is where Ringling Brothers started so there were also circus-y things all over town. So much fun! After the Fair we went to lunch at a little breakfast place and then headed to one of my fav spots, Pewett's Nest, to see the gorge and waterfall. Then we stopped at Sky Hi Ap...
