Diva Challenge # 69-Groovy

The first Monday of the month, the Diva calls for a UMT (Use My Tangle) Challenge. She chooses a tangle pattern invented by one of her loyal followers and challenges everyone to use it in a design. This week's UMT called for the use of  Eden's tangle 'Groovy'.  Yesterday was one of those days...so I looked forward to actually sitting down for the evening and working on this one, no cookin', no laundry', no nuthin', just me and the pen. All of the issues I'd been ruminating on all day fell away and it was just lines and curves. By the end of the evening I was much calmer, relaxed and ready to go to sleep. I cannot begin to tell you the immeasurable ways that tangling has helped me with all kinds of angsty, depression, anxiety-type issues. I SO encourage everyone to give it a try.  Yes you CAN do it; one pen stroke at a time, line by line. No one has to see it but you. You'll be amazed at how you feel. It's almost like hypnosis and it gives your brain and all of your worries a rest for a bit.  Anyway, enough expounding.  Here is my Groovy challenge for this week:

Try it! You'll like it!

A beautiful tapestry type tangle! The lines make the threads and they sing with beauty! Maybe it is the zen feeling of calm that I am addicted to.

It's hard to believe that we've been "tangling" for well over a year, Melinda. This is a lovely tile. Great border all around!

Wow, very detailed and beautiful. I love so many things about this... The tortuca in the tripoli, the line filler in the alternate lines of groovy... So much more!

This is stunning! Your patterns and the detail are just amazing. I hope you left your angst on this tile. It is a pleasure for us to enjoy (after it caused you such pain).

You have lots of patterns I have never done before. Really interesting to look at. What is the pattern with the small squares/rectangles and black dots of varying sizes? Really great design.
