This week's endeavors:

The 'tree' in the middle is an experiment gone horribly wrong, but the pussy willows on either side are my own invention.  I'll post the instructions at the end of the entry.
 Liked the little corner things while I was doing them but they make everything unbalanced.
 I like this one a lot.

This is my latest one. I think it may be the largest.  I can't seem to get the basket weave design down, that's why there are two large dragonflies on it covering most of it up-it was too big a patch to look that barren and goofy.  I still have to shade it and it will be interesting to see if shading makes that big a difference. Maybe I will post a side by side when I'm done.

Later: Adding a note to post the Week 14 Diva Challenge-Only using straight lines, no curves, curls, spirals, circles, donuts or pwizzles!  Everything on this supposed to be straight, if it appears otherwise it's because of my new discovered 'Can't Draw A Straight Line To Save My Life' disability.

I love pussy willows and tried to make a tangle of them and failed terribly - You've nailed it!!! Fantastic! Great stuff MollyBee!!!

A very nice series of drawings! They are so very rich in shades of black and patterning. I agree - the barbed wire one is excellent.

Just got a comment on my last blog entry reminding me that Monday is actually the last day of November, not today. So I have TWO more entries to complete NaBloPoMo; today and TOMORROW. How sad would that have been...to blow the whole thing because I can't read a calendar? I just figured, hey, December is coming next week, might's well start it out first thing on Monday! Lots of New Tangle Pattern Ideas!

I've been setting aside tangles that I've created in a special file in my cabinet. When I put one in last night, I realized that I had quite a stockpile and that I hadn't put only of them out there for others to try...so here they all are. I'm not good at stepouts or at naming. Most of them are named after placed in Maine...just because. I'd love to see any tangles that you've done that use any of these patterns! Have fun and tangle on!

Wicked Wonderful Weekend

 I had a really nice weekend. I didn't expect to since I had both my Covid booster and my flu shot  on Thursday afternoon. My first of the original two Covid shots put me under the weather for about 24 hours...but I just got a headache from this one and that's about it. And since I get headaches anyway, who knows if it was from the shots or not? At any rate, I was prepared for a stay-at-home-lay-about weekend.  Life is what happens when you are making other plans.  Since I decided Friday Night that I guess I wasn't going to be incapacitated after all, I arranged to go with friend, Donna to Baraboo to the Arts and Crafts Festival. It was really nice and way bigger than I thought it would be. Baraboo is where Ringling Brothers started so there were also circus-y things all over town. So much fun! After the Fair we went to lunch at a little breakfast place and then headed to one of my fav spots, Pewett's Nest, to see the gorge and waterfall. Then we stopped at Sky Hi Ap...
