Again With the Not Posting!

Sorry! I seem to be running around like a headless barnyard fowl more than ever these days!  The warm weather brings lots of opportunity to do fun things.  This in turn allows me to escape household chores which is my one true goal in life, so out the door I go!  Recent events include:  movies with friends (Pirates of the Caribbean and Super 8-both of which were awesome), dinner and Verona Hometown carnival with friend-Steve, Knit In Public Day with the Naughty Girls at The Sow's Ear, Tai Chi practice, sofa-bed shopping and other things that I'm sure I've forgotten!

While we were Knitting in Public Sunday, the Verona Hometown parade went by. It was pretty awesome-over and hour long! Here are some photos.

The zombies were part of a Haunted Barn that holds a Zombie Prom.

Just got a comment on my last blog entry reminding me that Monday is actually the last day of November, not today. So I have TWO more entries to complete NaBloPoMo; today and TOMORROW. How sad would that have been...to blow the whole thing because I can't read a calendar? I just figured, hey, December is coming next week, might's well start it out first thing on Monday! This here is a picture of my BubberKev and I at Thanksgiving. We're taking a momentary break from strangling each other to goof at the camera. Our mamma must be so proud! Lots of New Tangle Pattern Ideas!

I've been setting aside tangles that I've created in a special file in my cabinet. When I put one in last night, I realized that I had quite a stockpile and that I hadn't put only of them out there for others to try...so here they all are. I'm not good at stepouts or at naming. Most of them are named after placed in Maine...just because. I'd love to see any tangles that you've done that use any of these patterns! Have fun and tangle on!

Wicked Wonderful Weekend

 I had a really nice weekend. I didn't expect to since I had both my Covid booster and my flu shot  on Thursday afternoon. My first of the original two Covid shots put me under the weather for about 24 hours...but I just got a headache from this one and that's about it. And since I get headaches anyway, who knows if it was from the shots or not? At any rate, I was prepared for a stay-at-home-lay-about weekend.  Life is what happens when you are making other plans.  Since I decided Friday Night that I guess I wasn't going to be incapacitated after all, I arranged to go with friend, Donna to Baraboo to the Arts and Crafts Festival. It was really nice and way bigger than I thought it would be. Baraboo is where Ringling Brothers started so there were also circus-y things all over town. So much fun! After the Fair we went to lunch at a little breakfast place and then headed to one of my fav spots, Pewett's Nest, to see the gorge and waterfall. Then we stopped at Sky Hi Apple
