Only four meditation pieces this week. They are a little more involved than some of the smaller pieces so they took a bit longer.

And lo and behold, I do declay-ah, they-ah has been knittin, Deah! I was fortunate enough to have Knit Night on Friday night and then not feel well over the weekend. Life handed me hops so I made brew as my friend Bob says.  (The Lemon/Lemonade thing is so cliche, he's hoping it will catch on.)  Since I was on the couch most Sat. most of Sat afternoon and night and all of Sunday, I cranked out the rows.  Of course it's shaping up to be done about mid-July....no exactly sweater weather, but I'm givin' 'er all I've got. Cap'n!

Okay. With the exception of the snake thing you have going on, I really like your doodles. I've been working on my tangles, too, knitting, walking around the capitol, etc. But at least I felt well enough to do all of that last weekend. I hope that you're feeling better. Although, a couple more weekends of feeling crappy and you just might finish the sweater before July!

Just got a comment on my last blog entry reminding me that Monday is actually the last day of November, not today. So I have TWO more entries to complete NaBloPoMo; today and TOMORROW. How sad would that have been...to blow the whole thing because I can't read a calendar? I just figured, hey, December is coming next week, might's well start it out first thing on Monday! Lots of New Tangle Pattern Ideas!

I've been setting aside tangles that I've created in a special file in my cabinet. When I put one in last night, I realized that I had quite a stockpile and that I hadn't put only of them out there for others to try...so here they all are. I'm not good at stepouts or at naming. Most of them are named after placed in Maine...just because. I'd love to see any tangles that you've done that use any of these patterns! Have fun and tangle on!

Wicked Wonderful Weekend

 I had a really nice weekend. I didn't expect to since I had both my Covid booster and my flu shot  on Thursday afternoon. My first of the original two Covid shots put me under the weather for about 24 hours...but I just got a headache from this one and that's about it. And since I get headaches anyway, who knows if it was from the shots or not? At any rate, I was prepared for a stay-at-home-lay-about weekend.  Life is what happens when you are making other plans.  Since I decided Friday Night that I guess I wasn't going to be incapacitated after all, I arranged to go with friend, Donna to Baraboo to the Arts and Crafts Festival. It was really nice and way bigger than I thought it would be. Baraboo is where Ringling Brothers started so there were also circus-y things all over town. So much fun! After the Fair we went to lunch at a little breakfast place and then headed to one of my fav spots, Pewett's Nest, to see the gorge and waterfall. Then we stopped at Sky Hi Ap...
