Chicken Tortilla Casserole

I made a yummy casserole for supper last night. It was easy and pretty healthy too if you stick to low or ff versions of the cheese. I stuck the recipe in Molly Bees Kitchen-link here and on your left! Enjoy!

Oh MAN! I'm going to copy that down for sure. I made Yo-Yo-Knits' black bean tortilla pie the other night to national acclaiim (well, the DH liked it as much as I); this sounds like a win-win in our house too! Thank you for it! Oh, and Yarnthrower? I do so admire you - I have NEVER had it together enough to plan a weekly menu. I don't know what I'm going to fix or eat yesterday!

ooh, sounds delicious - maybe I could just come over next time you make it?:) I just read your comment and had to rush over - Jodi Picoult is coming to Borders on University tomorrow - they are starting to give out "tickets" at 9am - ugh - which seems impossible but I would love to see her and have her sign my book, which I haven't bought or read just yet - love Picoult as you know:) Just wanted to give you the heads up in case you were interested! Just got a comment on my last blog entry reminding me that Monday is actually the last day of November, not today. So I have TWO more entries to complete NaBloPoMo; today and TOMORROW. How sad would that have been...to blow the whole thing because I can't read a calendar? I just figured, hey, December is coming next week, might's well start it out first thing on Monday! Lots of New Tangle Pattern Ideas!

I've been setting aside tangles that I've created in a special file in my cabinet. When I put one in last night, I realized that I had quite a stockpile and that I hadn't put only of them out there for others to try...so here they all are. I'm not good at stepouts or at naming. Most of them are named after placed in Maine...just because. I'd love to see any tangles that you've done that use any of these patterns! Have fun and tangle on!

Wicked Wonderful Weekend

 I had a really nice weekend. I didn't expect to since I had both my Covid booster and my flu shot  on Thursday afternoon. My first of the original two Covid shots put me under the weather for about 24 hours...but I just got a headache from this one and that's about it. And since I get headaches anyway, who knows if it was from the shots or not? At any rate, I was prepared for a stay-at-home-lay-about weekend.  Life is what happens when you are making other plans.  Since I decided Friday Night that I guess I wasn't going to be incapacitated after all, I arranged to go with friend, Donna to Baraboo to the Arts and Crafts Festival. It was really nice and way bigger than I thought it would be. Baraboo is where Ringling Brothers started so there were also circus-y things all over town. So much fun! After the Fair we went to lunch at a little breakfast place and then headed to one of my fav spots, Pewett's Nest, to see the gorge and waterfall. Then we stopped at Sky Hi Ap...
