Diva Challenge Number 64-Fortuneteller

I haven't done the past few many Diva Challenges; life getting in the way and all that, so I really wanted to do this week's!  It was to divide the tile into 8ths (like the old fold up fortune tellers we used to make in grade school) and tangle each section.  Oooo! I had plans. I'd blur the lines!  I'd morph one pattern into the other! I'd create a tangle the likes of which the world had never seen! Not. so. much.  Seeing my time draining and the things I have to do between now and the weekend deadline, I realized I was going to have to 'phone' this one in . I divided my tile and put some of the new patterns I haven't tried out yet in each section. The result? Meh. Not earth shattering, but at least I have a working tool of pattern documentation for my stash.  I'll do better next week, I promise!

Love those new patterns! I think they look great! And it sure helps to remember them if you use them.

Way to go with accomplishing the challenge. Great sampler type project with fun tangles!

I know too well how life events seem to get in the way of creative dreams, but you just fit them in where you can and keep on tangling my friend. Your blog followers do like to see your pretty projects such as this one.

I hear you about the "time" problem. I haven't had the pens out in over a week. BUT, I did just get a package in the mail yesterday with 2 sets of the new Zendala strings. That's what I'll be trying next!

Just got a comment on my last blog entry reminding me that Monday is actually the last day of November, not today. So I have TWO more entries to complete NaBloPoMo; today and TOMORROW. How sad would that have been...to blow the whole thing because I can't read a calendar? I just figured, hey, December is coming next week, might's well start it out first thing on Monday! Lots of New Tangle Pattern Ideas!

I've been setting aside tangles that I've created in a special file in my cabinet. When I put one in last night, I realized that I had quite a stockpile and that I hadn't put only of them out there for others to try...so here they all are. I'm not good at stepouts or at naming. Most of them are named after placed in Maine...just because. I'd love to see any tangles that you've done that use any of these patterns! Have fun and tangle on!

Wicked Wonderful Weekend

 I had a really nice weekend. I didn't expect to since I had both my Covid booster and my flu shot  on Thursday afternoon. My first of the original two Covid shots put me under the weather for about 24 hours...but I just got a headache from this one and that's about it. And since I get headaches anyway, who knows if it was from the shots or not? At any rate, I was prepared for a stay-at-home-lay-about weekend.  Life is what happens when you are making other plans.  Since I decided Friday Night that I guess I wasn't going to be incapacitated after all, I arranged to go with friend, Donna to Baraboo to the Arts and Crafts Festival. It was really nice and way bigger than I thought it would be. Baraboo is where Ringling Brothers started so there were also circus-y things all over town. So much fun! After the Fair we went to lunch at a little breakfast place and then headed to one of my fav spots, Pewett's Nest, to see the gorge and waterfall. Then we stopped at Sky Hi Ap...
